Affordable Naked Street Fighter from the Italian brand for the Indian market.
Aprilia has officially debuted its Tuono 457, a naked streetfighter version of the RS457 Sports bike, following its initial showing at EICMA 2024 and months of anticipation and teasing. Aprilia has priced the Tuono 457 at Rs 3.95 lakh, making it the cheapest motorcycle in Aprilia India’s inventory, and it costs Rs 25,000 less than its more expensive sister, the Aprilia RS457.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is based on the same platform as the Aprilia RS 457; the Tuono 457 uses the same DOHC 4-valve 457cc parallel twin motor as the RS 457, producing 47 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque, which is delivered to the 17-inch rear wheel via a six-speed slipper clutch transmission. The Aprilia RS 457 can sprint from 0 to 100 in 4.5 seconds and reach a high speed of 190 km/h; the Aprilia Tuono 457 is expected to accomplish similar results.

The Aprilia Tuono 457’s suspension system includes preload-adjustable USD front forks and a rear mono-shock. Dual-channel disc brakes on both sides handle the braking responsibilities.

On the design aspect, the Aprilia Tuono adheres to the traditional street fighter design language but without the hefty side panels found on recent Naked street fighters, giving it a light appearance. The Aprilia Tuono features a center-set LED headlamp with LED DRLs. The Aprilia Tuono comes in two different colors: Piranha Red and Puma Grey.

Aprilia has outfitted the Tuono with an all-LED light, traction control, riding modes, switchable ABS, a color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and an optional additional Quick shifter.

In the naked street fighter division, Aprilia’s Tuono 457 competes directly with the Austrian KTM Duke 390 and the Japanese Yamaha MT-03.
